Just when you thought Liverpool 2018 couldn’t get any better after its Giant weekend, it’s been shortlisted for another branding award at City Nation Place Awards.
Taking place in London on 8 November, these are the most prestigious international place branding awards, attracting over 100 entries from global destinations and sponsored by New York Times.
The campaign, created by Marketing Liverpool and Culture Liverpool, has raised awareness of the city’s 10 year anniversary since European Capital of Culture and reached millions of people around the world via media coverage, social media and an ambitious advertising campaign.
This is the second marketing award nomination for Liverpool, following the ‘Best Leisure and Tourism Campaign’ at the Northern Marketing Awards.
