Visit Britain’s key travel trade event ExploreGB was held in Harrogate in May and Marketing Liverpool was there to take full advantage of the opportunity.
Over the two day event we met with over fifty different overseas tour operators and media contacts. These represented some of our key target markets including USA, Canada, Nordics and Germany.
This year we partnered with Magical Beatles Museum and together with profiling other new attractions Royal Liver Building 360 Tour, Strawberry Field and Shakespeare North our presentations were very well received. New business was secured within 24 hours of the event and we expect much more is on the way.
Also this month we’ve been in Shanghai, building on previous work in this market over the last few years. We delivered an action packed three days of activity, including a presentation alongside The Beatles Story at a Northern England Workshop followed by office visits, 1-1 meetings at ETAO’s China European Marketplace and further meetings at ITB China.
