Last night Liverpool was crowned the ‘Best Youth Destination’ at the British Youth Travel Awards.
We know that Liverpool is a very popular destination for young people – drawn in part by the strength of its independent scene, buzzing culture and its nightlife, whether that’s drum & bass in Invisible Wind Factory or cocktails in the Baltic Triangle.
Last night, we won an award to prove it – winning Best Youth Destination at the British Youth Travel Awards in London. These awards were voted for by an independent panel of industry experts, based off feedback from young travellers.
Stefan Price, Digital Marketing Executive, at Marketing Liverpool, said:
“As a city of creative types, music lovers, culture addicts and friendly faces, Liverpool are delighted to win the Best Youth Destination in the British Youth Travel Awards 2019! Whether you want the best night out of your life or a weekend getting lost in it all at one of our many museums and galleries, Liverpool definitely has something for everyone!”
